With your own key or a local model you pay no tokens; with Akollo's models you pay only for what you use. ### What is an AI token, and how is it counted? Every question and answer is measured by how much text the model reads and writes. Akollo turns that into one unit, the AI token, so whichever model you use, your bill stays on one line. - The assistant sends your request and the context it needs to the model (input). - The model writes its answer (output); context served from cache counts for less. - Input and output are weighted by the model's price and converted into AI tokens. - At month end your organisation's total is billed at the graduated price. ### Pay as you go on Akollo models - 0M–50M tokens a month: $14 / 1M tokens - 50M–200M tokens a month: $13 / 1M tokens - Above 200M tokens a month: $12 / 1M tokens Example: an organisation with 1,000 active users uses about 11.4M AI tokens in a typical month. That comes to about $160, or $0.16 per user. - **Model size** — Larger models use more tokens for the same text. Our default model is tuned for everyday work. - **Context length** — Reading long documents or many records makes the input bigger. - **Answer length** — A short answer uses far fewer tokens than a long report draft. - **Who uses it, and how often** — The bill is pooled across the organisation; you can set a cap per person. **Your own key: no token charge** — Connect your OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI or Gemini key. It is stored encrypted in our vault, and your provider bills you directly. **A local model: your data stays in** — On-premise, the model runs on your own servers. A one-time $3,500 covers model choice, acceptance tests and tuning; after that there is no token charge. **Frontier models: a separate add-on, $99 a month** — The most capable commercial models (GPT, Claude, Gemini class) are off by default. Once on, their use is metered in tokens on top and uses 10 to 50 times more than the standard model. ## What on-premise needs Akollo can run in your own data centre with no outside connection. Users are priced in bands: the first 1,000 at band A, users 1,001 to 5,000 at band B, and from 5,001 at band C. So for 2,000 people, the first 1,000 are priced at A and the next 1,000 at the lower B price. ### Is there a free plan or a trial? There is no free plan. A 30-day internal trial starts once setup is complete; give written notice within it and no licence fee is due. The setup fee is not refundable. ### How much does a longer term save? A 3-year term takes 10% off the licence and a 5-year term 18%. The price is fixed for the term and paid yearly. The discount does not apply to AI usage. ### What will we pay for AI? Nothing per token with your own key or a local model. With Akollo's models you pay from $14 per million AI tokens, less as volume grows. An organisation of 1,000 people pays about $160 in a typical month. Frontier models are a separate add-on at $99 a month. ### Which integrations are free? SSO (SAML and OIDC), SCIM, Entra ID, Active Directory and LDAP, REST API, webhooks and CSV are free on every plan. Other connectors come in three price tiers, standard, business and enterprise, per organisation per month. ### We have more than 2,000 users. How do we get a price? No. Lira prices carry 20% Turkish VAT on top. USD, EUR and GBP prices are for organisations outside Türkiye, and VAT follows the rules of the country the invoice is issued in. ### How do we pay? The licence is invoiced yearly in advance and due within 30 days.
