1.What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between visits.
2.The cookies we use
When you open a page in English, Turkish or German, the website stores the language you are reading in, so that the next time you go to akollo.com you land on the same language.
- Name: akollo-locale
- Content: the language code only (“en”, “tr” or “de”)
- Set by: akollo.com itself (first-party)
- Lifetime: one year from the last time it changed
- Purpose: remembering your language preference
3.Your cookie choice
When you answer the cookie banner, the website stores your answer so it does not ask again on every page.
- Name: akollo-consent
- Content: your choice per category (“necessary” always on, “statistics” on or off) and the date
- Set by: akollo.com itself (first-party)
- Lifetime: six months, then we ask again
- Purpose: remembering your cookie choice
4.What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, social media tracking pixels or any cookie that follows you across other websites. Neither cookie above contains an identifier that could single you out.
5.Legal basis
Remembering your language and your cookie choice is strictly necessary to show the website the way you asked for it. We rely on our legitimate interest in providing a usable website (KVKK Article 5(2)(f)) and, where the GDPR applies, on Article 6(1)(f); under ePrivacy rules these cookies need no consent. Statistics cookies, if we ever use them, are set only after you allow them in the banner (KVKK Article 5(1), GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Today we use none, so allowing statistics changes nothing yet.
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
6.How to remove or block it
You can delete the cookie or block cookies for akollo.com in your browser settings. The website still works without it; we will choose a language from your browser settings instead, and you can switch language at any time from the footer.
7.The Akollo product
This notice covers akollo.com only. The Akollo product at app.akollo.com and the documentation at docs.akollo.com use the cookies they need to sign you in and keep you signed in; those are described in their own notices and in your organisation's agreement.
