Resource planning

Know who can take the work before you plan it

Profiles, leave and reporting lines sit next to the projects and hours they affect, so managers see who is free before they staff a project. Sensitive fields stay hidden from anyone who does not need them.

Akollo people directory listing employees with their employee number and status
  • 01

    One directory for everyone

Search and filter everyone by status: pre-hire, active, on leave or terminated.

  • 02

Leave counted to the half day

Half-day steps, weekends and public holidays left out, and the eve of a religious holiday counted as a morning.

  • 03

    Sensitive fields stay hidden

Birth date and national ID number appear only to people with the sensitive-data permission.

  • 04

    Four eyes on balance changes

Larger leave adjustments wait for a second HR administrator, with a reason on record.

How the modules connect

The people record every module reads

Projects staff from it, time is credited to it and costs are priced with it. When someone joins, moves or leaves, every module sees the same change.

  1. 01Plan

Turn goals into projects, backlogs, sprints and timelines.

  2. 02StaffYou are here

Pick people by skills, availability and leave.

    • Resource planning
  3. 03Track

Record time by hand or with the desktop app, on the right task.

  4. 04Bill

See cost, budget, billing and margin per project and client.

  5. 05Improve

Read what happened and plan the next round better.

Directory and profiles

Everything about a person, on one page

A person's page holds their overview, job and employment history with earlier versions, time off, onboarding, documents and custom fields defined by HR. A field you may not see is left out entirely.

  • Employment dates with earlier versions and validity dates
  • Custom fields with Turkish and English labels
  • Fields that require approval go through a change request

Leave

Leave requests that know the Turkish calendar

Employees create, edit, send and withdraw their own requests. Akollo counts the days in half-day steps against the holiday calendar of their unit and shows the projected balance on the start date.

  • Turkish national calendar ready to add, plus local calendars
  • Overlaps, short notice and insufficient balance are refused up front
  • Balances and a full leave ledger per leave type
  • Approving leave requests on screen is planned

Org chart and onboarding

Reporting lines as of any date

The organisation chart shows who reports to whom on a date you pick. Managers see their own team; HR sees the whole organisation. When someone starts, the onboarding checklists that match them open on their own.

  • “Show from here” to start the chart from any person
  • Onboarding templates with tasks, owners and due days
  • Entitlements granted automatically on each anniversary

HR basics, without another system

The records HR keeps are the same ones managers use for planning and finance uses for cost.

  • Employee directory

Name, employee number and status, with filters and pre-hire people marked.

  • Organisation chart

Reporting lines on a chosen date, with direct-report counts and unit heads as fallback.

  • Leave and balances

Current and projected balances per leave type and a ledger of every grant and expiry.

  • Holiday calendars

National and local calendars, half days, yearly confirmation and assignment per unit or workplace.

  • Onboarding checklists

Templates with tasks, owners and due days that open when a person starts.

  • Entitlement rules

Seniority ladders drafted, previewed and published with a second administrator's approval.

  • Sensitive data

Separate permissions for sensitive personal and payroll data; restricted values hidden in support sessions.

  • Directory sync

Joiners, movers and leavers from your directory become cases in Akollo, with approval for risky changes.

AI on this module

Ask who is free

Availability questions get an answer card, not a guess.

Leave appears only as “on leave”, never with its type or reason.

Deployment and security

Runs where your data has to stay

The same Akollo in our cloud, in your own cloud or on your own servers.

  • Cloud or your own servers

Choose where Akollo runs. Every module works the same way in each setup.

  • Your own AI model

Point the assistant at a local model inside your network or at your own provider.

  • Scope in every view

Managers see only the people in their scope, in every screen, report and export.

  • Audit records and four eyes

Privilege and configuration changes are recorded, and sensitive ones wait for a second person.

Questions about Resource planning

Who can see an employee's national ID number?

Only people who hold the sensitive-data permission. For everyone else the field is left out of the page entirely, and organisation owners do not get the permission automatically for payroll data. Security & trust explains how permissions and the audit trail work.

Does Akollo know Turkish public holidays?

Yes. HR can add the Turkish national calendar or a local calendar, mark half days and confirm each year. Leave is counted against the calendar assigned to the person's unit, person or workplace, and capacity in Work & projects takes it into account.

Can managers approve leave in Akollo?

Employees can already create and send leave requests, and HR approves larger balance adjustments. Approving, rejecting and cancelling leave requests on screen is planned and not part of the current release.

Can we keep our existing HR or directory system?

Yes. A connected directory, for example through SCIM, starts joiner, mover and leaver cases in Akollo. Synchronisation with an HR system is planned.
